Why Cover?
The generally accepted practice and regulations in many countries require landfill sites to place a minimum of 150mm (6 inches) of inert cover material over the working face each day in order to:

  • Discourage flies and other disease carriers

    •
  • Contain the refuse and minimise windblow litter

    •
  • Control odour

    •
  • Discourage scavenging birds and animals

    •
  • Improve the visible appearance of the site
